Herbert Hoover Mayfield (32) died suddenly after an automobile accident in Illinois. Services where held at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church on January 12, 1961. Officiating the services was Reverend. Bowens.
Succeeded in death by his loving wife, Inez; six children, Herbert Jr. Mayfield, Kenneth Mayfield, Marilyn Mayfield, Henry Lee Mayfield, Larry Mayfield, David Charles Mayfield, three brothers; Lee R. Mayfield, Arzell Mayfield and Henry Mayfield; one sister, Henrietta Johnson.
